About Classic Checkers
Classic Checkers is the timeless board game on a walnut-and-maple board, made for your TV remote.
Move your pieces diagonally, jump over your opponent's pieces to capture them, and reach the far side to crown a king. Captures are compulsory, and a multi-jump can take several pieces in one move. Whoever takes all the other side's pieces, or leaves them without a move, wins.
Play American checkers (kings move one square) or Russian checkers (flying kings), against the computer at five levels from Beginner to Maximum, or against a friend on the same TV. Pick up a piece with OK and see where it can go. Hint suggests a good move, Undo takes yours back, and the game is saved when you leave, ready to continue.
